In short: neither the AirShot application nor this website collects, stores or sells any user data. We are not interested in monetising user data, instead, we charge a one-off payment to cover the development and publishing costs.

Introduction and scope

This page is used to inform visitors regarding the policies of (“AirShot”, “we”, “us”, “our”) with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Data if anyone decided to use our website (www.airshot.app), and/or our AirShot application (collectively, the “Services”).

Information collection and use

Both this website and the AirShot macOS application do not collect any user data.

Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device’s internal memory.

This website does not use any form of cookies. The AirShot application also does not use any unique identifiers.

Service providers

To retrieve the user location in the AirShot application we use Apple location services. These are the same services that Apple uses to retrieve your location.

To enable the random location feature on the AirShot application, we use data from GeoNames. None of your data is sent to this provider. We only extract geographical information from this provider to select a random location in the world.

Security

Your personal information is not accessible from our application as there is no way to gain access to your information through our Services. Furthermore, our application is securely contained in the operating system.

These Services may contain links to other sites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by me. Therefore, I strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. I have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Updating and deleting your account

This website does not store any user data. The AirShot application stores app-specific user preferences. This data is stored locally on the user device and we do not have access to it. If you wish to delete this data you can delete the application. To update the application the user can consult the macOS App Store for the latest updates. Updating is completely voluntary.
